It was a shock to know a boat affected. With Silhouette in the area, I was concerned in case anyone had ventured Oxford way or to the Avon.

I hope the damage isn't too much - whilst the toilet spewing contents around the boat isn't great hopefully its only simply replacing a few fittings, as a large claim might be quibbled by the new "lower price" the boats were insured for this year.

I commented about the new 'blu loo' alternatives last time. Made our new toilet smell like the old one we got replaced!!

Dear Silhouette owner, thank you for two reasons, because Oasis Too was stuck in the fast currents on the Avon (four weeks before) we had a long weekend in your boat the weekend before the above happened. We had a great time (I had a little mishap at Napton Lock and dislocated both my ankles and am now in two plasters, but the trip was very good) we reported the toilet, I don't think the american toilet anti odour things the boat yard were trialling worked well, good old fashioned blue seems a good idea! Also thanks for this clip, was devastated to hear she had risen over her 6 foot pylon moorings, and we thought last week we were going to lose her, but Oasis Too is now back in the water and once the current has abated somewhat will be going to Evesham for craning out to travel up to Stockton Top for a check over. Unfortunately the toilet was full and had leaked, so even though we were using blue that isn't good! We are all waiting with bated breath for the next installment. Many thanks for the boat and for putting this up for us to see.
